Following the Royal Dust remixes by Ricardo Villalobos and Paul Frick, Royal Dust is now back with a 4 track EP. The heavy dance-floor experimentations of The Remixes album give way to the more relaxed, contemplative left field cinematic experimentations, where the sharp psychedelia of "Tune in/with the drug", its living room percussion and heavy filtered synths take us to a more relaxed dusty downtempo trumpet blues track like "Boxed" which shows the sound design richness of the Royal Dust world. Following is the dystopic heavy drum gymnastics and buried voice sounds of "Mono" to end up with the lush beauty of the piano chords tormented at the end by a chopped up sound designed grand small finale, making "Dream in Flames" the perfect soundtrack to a beautiful nightmare that you really want to dream again and again.
